Black Shimmery Glitter
What look can I make with...?
I got a Urban Decay palette for christmas from my moms friend, but some of the eyeshadows are WAY too sparkly and I dont know what look I can make with them. They palette is called Urban Decay sustainable eye palette. The colors in them are:
YDK- a bronze color with a little shimmer metallic
flipside- a teal color with a little shimmer its metallic
grifter- pink with glitter
UZI- white with lots of chunky glitter
twice baked- brown with shimmer
midnight cowboy rides again- light bronze with glitter (its shimmery)
flash- purple
oil slick- glittery black
kiddie pool- metallic light blue shimmer
half baked- metallic gold
one thing you could do is use a thin brush or eyeliner brush and wet it, and then use any of them as an eyeliner. I have grifter, and I love to use a wet eyeshadow brush with it. I also have kiddie pool, and something i love to do is put a white base, either use the white in the palette, and apply wet, or use a cream shadow that is white if you have one. then use a dry shadow brush and on the inner 1/3 of the eye apply the kiddie pool, and on the outer 1/3 a purplish color, so maybe the flash. then blend really well so its kind of a gradient, and you dont have to layer the color on really heavy, so its a nice winter look. you could also do the same procedure but use different colors. you could try using the ydk on the lid, then put some of the half baked in the crease, i would say you could even use the midnight cowboy alone. you could try a smokey eye using the oil slick by putting it on the lid first and then blending out. you could put the flipside on first and layer the uzi over to make the color less bright. hope this helps!
