The new Black Sony Ericsson W890i Walkman phone is a time limited Vodafone exclusive handset, meaning that should a customer want to buy a black Sony W890i they will only be able to connect it to a Vodafone contract deal for the time of the exclusive launch.
These time frames can last for a couple of weeks or for the manufacturing life of the handset and although the silver W890i is available on other UK networks the black version can only be bought on Vodafone for the time being.
