Buff Control Top
could i have damaged my dyna more that i can see by dropping it?
bringing my 2000 dyna in basement idle speed; forward control pegs lifted up to get thru door,
stopped bike, pant cuff caught on kickstand,couldn't get foot or stand down bike plopped on left side crashing onto my old vespa scoot we 3 went down like domino's could not lift bike for some time until my wife helped me get bike upright, i saw some liquid leaking down i first thought it was gas.,but then i noticed it looked green in color.
bike weighs a ton nothing broke just mirror stem bent and small scratch top let side of tank,buffed most of it out.maybe my imagination but bike doesnt seem to be running or shifting right,is there possible internal problems?,or is is there some low fluid somewhere
Not sure what the green fluid is. I do not remember any green fluids in my Harleys. but I've only had three over the last 30 years. I would check all the fluids just to make sure. Check the shifter linkage to see if it is bent. Even a little bit may make it hard to shift, maybe the forward control is bent. The clutch lever may also be bent making it hard to shift. But just falling over should not affect the way it runs.
