Control Top Hosiery
Are you actually supposed to wear panties below pantyhose if they have a control top?
I wear pantyhose to my summer job at the university every single day, and they look almost exactly like this (with heels just like those ones as well):

Notice the "panty" portion and how it's almost as thick as a regular panty. I figured that this kind of hosiery is made so that there's no need for panties below, and that's how I wear them. Is there anything wrong with that?
I don't know if it's more comfortable than wearing panties below per se, but it seems like they were built as both undergarments and hosiery, plus doing so prevents panty lines below my skirt.

They are designed to REPLACE panties and separate stockings.
Some DO wear panties under them to avoid getting "stains" on the pantyhose, as panties are cheaper and easier to wash.
