With the summer of 2009 promises to be the warmest for several years, it is time for us girls to get our legs and show them in combination sets with the most recent trend.
For those who have the confidence to reveal their legs in all their glory thigh high mini dresses are certainly the trend. Taking their inspiration from the costumes worn by all-girl bands contrasting strappy front panel or marine-type strapless dresses will certainly the show during the summer. These should ideally be worn with bare feet, with bronzer added if not naturally tan. But for the cooler evenings fine pure opaque tights or leg complete the look.
Those who are less likely to reveal that leg many may opt for the latter above-the-knee pencil skirt. This perennial favorite has been reinvented with a mid to waist height, in bright colors and is ideal for work or casual smart.
Something new for this summer and promises to be the fashion "Jeggings'! These are denim leggings, tights in different colors, but most popularly blue or gray. Tighten the leg, by far, it is difficult distinguish them from traditional leggings or opaque tights. They go with almost anything, but especially with vest tops printed. In terms of shoes are ankle boots this summer must-have, especially when it comes to wearing jeggings.
Shorts are a summer staple this summer, Denim is back in fashion. Available in different lengths of hot pants just above the knee, at least one pair of these initiatives should be in your wardrobe this summer. However, unlike recent summers trend this year is to ditch the tights with shorts and go look for bare legs.
Bright colors and metallic accessories add the finishing touches on this Summer's clothing essential for women. Metal studs and spikes will be particularly prevalent this summer on everything from boots and belts to definitively leather jackets.
