Full Support Pantyhose
Varicose Vein - Surgical Support Stockings?
My mom has a varicose vein on her lower leg is it safe for her to use support stockings up to the knee or should she use the full pantyhose that go up to the waist? Any help is very appreciated. Thank you. P.S. there is absolutely no pain and my mom has been wearing the full pantyhose and the vein has been less swollen. Thanks again
Her doctor can prescribe a compression stocking. if she only has varicose veins below the knee, a knee high stocking should be fine.
There are different kinds of compression stockings, offering light to heavy compression. A doctor should decide how heavy the compression should be. Too strong a compression can lead to problems so it is important to see a doctor.
