Hose Black Super
How do you get the fuel filter off a 2002 Chevy Cavalier?
On the right side if you look straight up at it there is a black hose like thing with this infuriating little green clip. I CANNOT for the life of me get it off. I opened it up, but I can't get it off. Pictures would be super helpful :[
Sorry, but I can't tell you the exact answer.
I have provided a link to images, but I don't know what the special tool looks like.
On Ford fuel lines, they use a tool that basically is 2 parts, clamps over the line, and acts as a collar you push in towards the fitting with. The idea being that pushing it in releases the angled teeth holding it, just as you can release a tiestrap with a pin.
But I can't say for sure, even though it looks like the same method, because I have not done it.
I would get the tool at the second and third link.
