Engine Stalls, Airbag light always on, Horn doesnt Work!!!?
1996 nissan pathfinder, doesnt always start, usually have to wait a minute and try again, airbag light sensor always on, horn doesnt work. replaced maf sensor, distribiter, plug wires, coolant sensor, speed control sensor, all looken over. one time when it wasnt starting i tapped the the distribiter cap and got shocked in the leg from the bumper, possible short! i saw some thing about extreme heaat causes some thing. in Az and its 105 everyday! thanks
usually stalls at 30-45mph
This is variety of problems.
The inoperative horn and air bag light may indicate a bad clock spring behind the steering wheel.
The only "short" you have is when you grounded yourself on the bumper while tapping the distributor.
As far as the no start at times and the erratic stalling at 30-45 mph, it sounds like you have a bad connection somewhere in the ignition system or a component that's intermittent.
