What are girls opinions of a “shoes off policy”.?
I have a shoes off policy at my new place to protect the flooring, about two months ago I invited a girl I was dating around. I asked her to take her shoes off by the door, she was wearing a pair of black high heels on barefeet. Her clammy barefeet made a sticky sound on the floor, about half an hour later she asked for her shoes back saying her toes where cold.
From my perspective it must feel a bit awkward or embarrassing and a bit of a come down for a girl to go from wearing a fashionable pair of shoes to end up going round in sweaty bare feet. And it must feel a little vulnerable and exposed having to go round with your naked toes open to the elements after having the warm comfort and protection of the shoe. Even though girls just seem to just grin and bare it for a time.
I wanted to know a girls opinions and how they would feel if they went from wearing their shoes on barefeet to having to take them off and go round totally barefooted, dose it depend on the situation too?
i wouldn't mind taking my shoes off, in fact if i where wearing high heels after an entire evening I'd be relieved at the opportunity and wouldn't see you and your request weird. however, i would feel a little self conscious if i was getting cold, and would probably be too shy to ask you for slippers or socks so it would be nice if you'd offer something to cover up with. if your not into sharing you could buy a pair of slippers as an extra for company (even if there a little big for an average woman its fine, this way they could fit a guy friend that gets chilly).
