Pantyhose Lingerie Tights
Are most garter belts now just decorative, rather than practical?
I always prefer to wear stockings & garters, but I've noticed lately that most garter belts seem to be designed only to look sexy than to be practical for wearing day-to-day. Often, they are cut very thin, so that they tend to dig in, or sit too low on the hips.
I've no *objection* to them being sexy -- that's half the reason for wearing stockings & garters rather than tights/pantyhose 
-- but for all-day wear they need to be practical too.
The last couple of times I went lingerie shopping, I ended up getting basque/thong sets rather than bra/thong/garter belt sets because I find a basque much more comfortable than any of the garter belts I found.
Is this just my impression, or have others noticed this too?
well, i usually use garters when i wear stockings, simply because i don't like to wear a pantyhose....but yeah, they're considered more as sexy outfit to pleasure men these days, than as a useful device to keep your stockings up.
