The Emergency Bridal Kit-Every Bride's Must-Have Accessory

An Emergency Bridal Kit is basically a bag that the bride keeps close; either she carries it with her or one of her attendants can carry it, and it will stay close to the bride throughout the entire day. The bride will keep this little bag with her throughout the entire day to help alleviate the worries of anything that could happen and having items on hand to deal with anything that does.

This is just a partial list of some of the most basic necessities that should be included with every emergency bridal kit and how these items can be used in emergencies:

Nausea and Headache Remedies
Most brides can be very nervous on their wedding days. This can cause annoying headaches or even an upset stomach or a feeling of nausea. To help reduce or eliminate these ailments, your emergency bridal kit should include headache and nausea remedies such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen and some chewable antacids.

Also have some smelling salts on hand for anyone who may be feeling extremely light-headed or who may actually faint.

If any of your bridesmaids experience any of these ugly onsets from being nervous, having these items on hand will keep a minor incident from turning into a disaster.

Beauty Repair Items
The emergency bridal kit should also include some extra lip gloss and translucent face powder for moistening dry lips or touching up makeup due to sweating.

A small bottle of clear nail polish will seal snags in stockings or pantyhose or keep small snags from turning into ugly runs. You can also use nail polish to invisibly reapply any rhinestones or other embellishments that may come loose from dresses.

A small hairbrush, comb, a compact mirror and small travel sizes of hair spray and deodorant will be needed for any necessary touchups during the day. And extra bobby pins will help for any hair crises or tightening up a loosening veil or headpiece.

Miscellaneous
A travel size sewing kit with extra straight pins in your emergency bridal kit will give some added help to keeping corsages in place or even repairing a loosening bouquet.

And a travel size stain remover stick will help during the reception if someone has an unintended spill.

Again, having an emergency bridal kit on hand on what is the most special day of your life will keep any small mishap from turning into a disaster and possibly ruining your wedding day.
