Sheer Energy Black
Where did God obtain so much energy to create the Universe?
I mean, of the hundreds of Billions of galactic super clusters, the super black holes, the countless Stars, solid matter, and everything in between, how does it exist?
I mean, the sheer quantity of energy required would be far beyond colossal. It all has to come from some where...
Don't feed me bible passages, or claim that it's the word of God, whatever that is, or the there exists some sort of Infinite universe from which everything derives(under what circumstances would something like THAT exist?) or simply leave it at the fact that God is omnipotent and can do anything, that's going too far...
I am not anything in particular, you cannot classify me as an atheist or agnostic or whatever, I'm just me, throwing my musings out there.
I'm not expecting an absolute answer, cause that's impossible... in the end, I don't know what to expect, that's where the debate ends, no one has an answer. It's one big loop.
What if we're looking at the problem backwards? What if the cosmos just is and has just always been? What if the Big Bang was the result of a catastrophic collapse? What if the universe cyclically expands from and contracts to a singularity like a big-assed spring?
I don't have the slightest guess as to the potential energy source but we do know something about gravity and mass. While the universe seems ancient on our time scale we really don't know if it is in its infancy. Just because it's expanding from our point of observation - and the expansion is accelerating - doesn't mean it won't one day reach stasis and being contracting.
Dunno. It's almost 2 am where I'm sitting. It must be time to go to bed.
