Top Pantyhose Tall
Feet sliding down in high heels?
For some reason recently, wearing heels taller than a kitten heel have been killing my feet. It has nothing to do with a change in my weight or anything.
Basically, the problem is that I don't wear dress shoes without pantyhose (grosses me out). My feet keep sliding down into the toes and getting squished, resulting in blisters on the top of my toes and the side of my feet. This is really annoying because I've never had this much of a problem with it before.
I tried those foot petals you get at Payless that you stick under the ball of your feet and toes--they didn't work.
Also, before anyone says this, I am wearing the correct shoe size---size hasn't changd in 10 years.
I appreciate any and all help...I miss wearing my heels!
Just want to clarify one thing, although you wear a size 10 in one style, does not mean you will in another. My dress shoe size is different then my sneaker size.
As for your hosiery, is that a good quality?
When you sweat, it builds up, and feet sweat alot. You might want to try some foot powder in your shoes that soaks up any foot sweat to keep your feet dry.
There are different insoles you can place in your shoes that also help your foot keep traction in your shoe.
I heard someone before say spray a little hair spray in your shoes, it helps give the shoe (which has a slippery insole) a little traction for your slick pantyhose to stick to. Let it get slightly tacky, then put it on.
Also, try different styles of the same height heel. It may be that some shoes are just not cut right for your foot at higher heels.
Perhaps a pair with an ankle strap might also help keep the shoe better positioned on the heel of your foot.
